Leonardo's Bicycle

Melancholy melodic mayhem

About Me

Mike Poulson and Andy Morten have been singing, playing, writing and borrowing money off each other for twenty years in a bewildering succession of full-on rock bands, downbeat acoustic duos and one-off recording projects. Sadly they show little sign of flagging. They claim to be influenced almost exclusively by obscure psychedelic bands of the late 1960s but, if pushed, will admit a fondness for You Am I, Cotton Mather and The Uncle Devil Show. Bizarrely they've also been likened to The Everly Brothers, The Jam, Teenage Fanclub and Crosby, Stills & Nash - although there are only actually two of them.

Playing at the IPO festival in Liverpool at the Cavern Club, May 2007. As can be seen in this clip, the audience was spellbound during the performance of our Bee Gees cover.

And live at the Frome Oxjam, Oct 2007.
