Sounds Like: Acoustic Plus is an original live music event held (almost) monthly at The Cheese & Grain in Frome, celebrating home grown music of all kinds. Since September 2002 our appreciative audience has enjoyed over 150 different acts, mostly acoustic but often electric, with instruments ranging from bagpipes to xylophones.
Each night usually consists of four half-hour spots by musicians from Frome and the surrounding area, and sometimes further afield (London, Tokyo, L.A.). The door price is kept as low as possible in order to attract as large an audience as we can for essentially unknown acts. We especially encourage young performers and audiences.
