I am in my late 30's, fun loving and adventurous. I am beginning to believe I am an alien: a happy, mostly sane, attractive single lesbian. If not an alien, then last of a dying breed for sure! Mostly grown-up with the heart of Peter Pan. My intelligence and humor are what people seem to appreciate most about me. I take pleasure in the so called small things in life. The way I see it, if a small thing can make you happy, it is truly not so small ;). It makes me very happy to be able to put a smile on someone else's face. Whether or not you realize it, you DO affect others. It is up to each of us to infuse the world with as much positive energy as possible.
If you ever run into me, you can almost be assured I will have my digital camera on me. Best therapy in the world is to capture a shot that took my breath away in real life. My page background and 98% of the photos on my page are ones I have taken. My camera tends to make me a little less of a wall flower than I often truly am.
I love live music, dancing, movies, Mexican Martinis with good company and just about any kind of food.I love an engaging conversation and am known for my ability to make people laugh in just about any situation. I love to have my mind challenged...it is the only way I learn things ;) I am a native Texan, born in Dallas and have lived the past 19 years here in Austin. I knew it was home almost as soon as I moved here. Austin and I have done our fair share of growing up in that time. Call it progress or call it evolution. But if we are not growing? We are dying...so for as long as I can, I will continue to make the choice to live and grow. There is *always* something new to learn. Life is an amazing text book, we just have to be willing to crack the book and accept the lesson life is trying to teach us. It isn't always the lesson we are looking for.
