Praise the Lord everyone. My name is Joel Anderson. I am from Gulfport, MS. I moved to Jackson to get delivered. I'm the one they say wouldn’t make it. I was resurrected from the death of drug addiction (crack cocaine), life on the streets, in and out of prison, and the life of poverty. I am a testimony to the AWESOME power of The Most High God; a classic example of God making a way of escape. Oh, you ought to shout right there. As a result of this new life and journey, my roles have increased and expanded. To name a few, I am the proud husband of the most beautiful gift God has ever given me; a Crystal in the time of need. I am the father of 4, Destiny, Brooke, Deborah, Robert; and my only Godson is Jonathon (aka - Bubba). I serve as armorbearer in one of the most powerful ministries ever known, Heal the Hurt Ministries/Exodus Apostolic Church, under the leadership of Overseer, Prophetess, and Under-Shepard, Pastor Maxine Gray. Yeah, that's right; read it again, Maxine Gray. My former friends and family ask why I follow a female Pastor. My humbleness, homemaking and culinary skills come from my Mother (a woman). My ability to manage a kitchen in the food industry comes from Patty& Jennifer, who own a successful restaurant in Gulfport, MS (women). My ever increasing knowledge about finances and manageability comes from my wife, who's an accountant (a woman). Not to disrespect my father, former pastor, teachers or any prominent men in my life, but my capacity to learn and grasp information comes from women. By the power of God invested in my Pastor, comes the authority to tear the devil's head off. She walks in territory never traveled by man and she's taking the city by storm. Imagine being birthed under a ministry like that for 10 to 15 years, yes, it takes that long or more. Can't do it in 1 to 2 years. More about that in one of my future blogs. Anyways, I’m a culinary manager in a famous restaurant. My dream is to get my own, which will be soon. I look forward to meeting new people, sharing the Love of Jesus and give back what my savior has given me.
