The Warehouse Studio

Recording Studio

About Me

The Warehouse Studio was built for making music.
We have an unparallled equipment list, including our prized vintage Neve desk, (originally from AIR studios, London), two SSL rooms, a huge collection of vintage valve mics, compressors, eq's, Protools and analog recording equipment.Located in Vancouver's historic 'Gastown', the studio is close to great restaurants, shops, nightclubs, stripjoints, concert venues, sport arenas, theatres and art galleries.
Built in 1886 as a klondike supply depot for the gold rush, the building also served as Vancouver's City Hall. The restorations saved it from being turned into a parking lot from developers in the late 80's and The Warehouse Studio won an heritage award for outstanding renovation in 1998 from the city of Vancouver. Today, it is the oldest brick building in the city, with a loft-environment of high ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed brick and massive timbers.
Privacy is secured with entry through both the front and back of the building with private secured parking. There is a small putting green and patio located in the courtyard which is not visible from the street.
Great attention has been paid to practical comforts, particularly for extended stays. All of our studios are located on separate floors, with comfortable and spacious areas in natural light, and all have private kitchens and lounge areas.
We've created an environment that has a great vibe, dedicated to the creative process both for the artist and their producer/engineers.
