Hi I'm Steve, I'm a guitarist in a fan-dabby-doozy band called Area54, check them out in my top 8 friends!
I'm generally a quiet person, who likes to keep himself to himself, although I do sometimes have random frenzied spurts of randomness. Those that know me, who I consider to be my closest friends to me, know that I'm a very open, honest, what-you-see-is-what-you-get kinda guy, although increasingly in this past year/year and a half, I have had moments where I just want to shut myself off from the world, and withdraw deep into my shell. Those that don't know me very well, would class this as inconsiderate, selfish or rude, or even think that I have some sort of 'hidden agenda' but then, that's why they don't know me very well. I have been through hell and back with certain aspects of my life in the last few years, and although it's beaten me down in many ways, I feel that a great change is on the horizon and better things are just around the corner
Of all the things in the world that make me happy, first of all is that I'm in a great band, who make totally excellent music (we're releasing an album very shortly btw) ;) and secondly the few close friends that I have made mean the world to me. I have made some mistakes in my life, some through sheer ignorance by not standing up for myself when I needed to, or not backing down when I was wrong. Trusting people who were clearly not to be trusted, and following my heart when my head was in clear disagreement with it. Life is a learning game, and I hope I take heed of my past judgements and use them for benefit rather than just rubbing salt in old wounds.
