A Wonderful World Surrounds Us, If We Allow Ourselves To See

About Me

As you may have gathered, I am an avid photographer. You will find my photos throughout this page. My photographs have been featured on postcards, calendars, television, magazines, books and numerous websites. I am very honored and humbled by this recognition of my work.
I have done photography as a hobby for over thirty years and professionally for the past ten years. While my main focus is now in nature and astrophotography, I have also done portraits, weddings and family reunions. In addition, I worked in a custom photo lab for two years learning a wealth about processing, color correction and various lab techniques.
If you would like to see more of my work, and for information on purchasing and/or licensing any of these photos, please visit my main website at: www.darrellespangler.com

Ok, as several of you have asked, "Why the huge music connection", I will explain. I have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old and was a member of several bands over the decades. I played the bar circuit for a few years back in the early 80's with a Chicago area band called, "MAX", and did a small amount of studio work. I also have worked with promoting local bands, benefits and concerts and of course photographing and video taping bands. I am also a huge supporter of Indie music and artists and enjoy helping out in its promotion, whenever and however I can.
I am also the owner/editor of "Storm Mountain News" , an online community news site serving Larimer County in northern Colorado.
Well, there ya have it. Thanks for stopping on by! If you have any questions about anything just send me a message. Have a great one!

Damon Shulman

Since the release of ‘A Brief moment of Panic’ in 2006 Damon has involved himself in many different projects. His main aim has been to produce a second album from ‘Room 15’. This objective has now been achieved with the up coming release of ‘Vultures and Sheep’. Again, the album contains eight original pieces by Damon, of varying styles and subjects. However, much like ‘Brief’ each piece is directly linked to the title of the album. Damon plays, and arranges the album music and is assisted with performances by his sons Elliot and Rowan who both play and sing on the album. Youngest son Joel even has a speaking part on the opening track ‘How You Want It’, along wife Lorrie who also has a cameo spot on the opening track. Ray Shulman has yet again contributed his superlative skills to the project by performing post production and a superb final mastering. The album is available on gentlegiantmusic.com through Alucard publishing.
The Kelly J. Band

It was after graduation and a dare from a friend that led her to enter a contest at the famed "Grizzly Rose" in Denver where she floored the audience in a "Star Searchesque" talent contest. Kelly J. walked away hooked by the rush and applause she received by entertaining the crowd. After singing with numerous bands and at the prompting of several club owners she decided to start her own five-piece band. They have been traveling over the past four years playing private parties, fairs and festivals, clubs and casino lounges building a loyal fan base and delivering an incredible performance throughout the Mid and Southwest. In addition to performing with her band Kelly J. has had the honor of singing our National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, numerous rodeos & fairs, The Colorado Rockies & The Colorado Mammoth. Kelly J. has completed her first CD "A Little Bit Of Both", which has achieved excellent reviews. Her first single, "If We're Letting Go" has received air-time on many radio stations throughout the mid-west. Kelly J. has opened for numerous stars and is on a collision course with destiny to become one herself.
Phil Dearing

Phil Dearing has played in a variety of bands over the years, and recently decided to return to his earliest love - the blues. The well-received album "Drive Coffin Fast" was the result of that. You can hear a couple of songs from the album on the site: "Southside" and "St James"

Norbert Krueler

A few months later, the first 12"-Single was released. With the help of the musicians Detlef Reder and Michael Jaspers I composed the titles "My Dream", "Caligula" and "Karin". This was in 1986.

But despite commercial success (DJ Top 40 rank 9), it became clearly for myself, that Shamall would commit to the genre "Italo-Disco" if I would produce another release in this style. Thus the musical way would be marked: commercial pop with limited possibilities to develop musical ideas. But the original idea of the foundation of Shamall was to create music for the heart, which should be as timeless as the pyramids of Gizeh. After "Feeling like a stranger" I decided to change the musical direction of Shamall completely.

Since "Journey to a Nightmare", which was the first longplayer release in 1989, I try to meet an intellectual challenge with every new album and get over a musical barrier, which i hadn't managed before. With the help of different musicians all over the years I produced 10 albums until my current release "ambiguous points of view".

Currently I work on different popular and classical side projects.

Greetings from Seattle! We're in the early stages of creating our music. If you like what you hear - drop us a note!

For now we haven't uploaded versions with vocals - they're cookin' behind the scenes.

I know what you're thinking... just another pretty-boy garage band from Cleveland. Uh-uh. This is no ordinary rock-n-roll. This is radioactive rock-n-roll! Dirty-bomb fuckin'-a rock-n-roll!

9/11 and American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out .. Both the government and the mainstream media have since tried to portray the 9/11 truth movement as led by people who can be dismissed as "conspiracy theorists" able to find an outlet for their ideas only on the internet. This volume, with essays by intellectuals from Europe and North America, shows this caricature to be untrue. Coming from different intellectual disciplines as well as from different parts of the world, these authors are united in the conviction that the official story about 9/11 is a huge deception manufactured to extend imperial control at home and abroad.
