About Me

'The Entire Animal' is a literary novel by Gregory Heath, an English writer. It is published by London-based The Waywiser Press and is available via all the usual channels, including Barnesandnoble.com and Amazon.co.uk
It is a unique novel in that it addresses taxidermy in a way which is not comic or macabre, but which gives it the respect it deserves. In addition to general literary readers, it should appeal to currently practicing taxidermists and anyone who has an interest in the craft, either in its traditional form or as a mode of conceptual art.
Although the main character is a taxidermist and his work features heavily in the book, it is primarily a powerful, emotional story of love and loss, and has received five-star reader reviews across the board, with comments including:
"I read The Entire Animal all in one go. I couldn't stop. I was totally immersed.... The ending was so strong and believable I had that feeling you get when you leave the dark cinema and it's bright daylight outside. It was one in the morning but I was energised.... I had the same feeling when I read Iain Banks's Complicity."
"I devoured it at one sitting and was moved to tears by it."
"I doubt there's a better debut novel out there. Highly recommended."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The author of 'The Entire Animal' likes to meet people generally, but this page is especially for those interested in taxidermy, conceptual art (one of the characters is a fine art student) and, of course, lovers of serious literature.

He also has a general myspace page , though, which he'd love you to visit!
