you have probably noticed that we changed our the mainstream–fan-profile from 'U25' to 'U2 can free burma ' - this is why:
the other night I was watching a tv-documentary by british journalist called 'military vs monks' who risked his life by taking his video-camera and filming what was never to be filmed according to the military junta– I was paralyzed - little did I know before how bad the situation really was -watching soldiers burning down little villages in the jungle – killing little children and raping women (all for a reason they call 'ethnic cleansing')
all I had heard before was that there were monks involved in demonstrations...that's just the tip of the iceberg .
I decided to do something -so I set up this page by donating our old profile that already had a few friends & also traffic .
let's try to build up a huge network and collect comments (as an equivalent to collecting signatures)TIME TO TAKE ACTION -LET'S SET UP A NETWORK HERE ON MYSPACE and SPREAD THE WORD!

AN INTERESTING FACT:+China is paralyzing UN Security Council action on Burma. They are the main economic, military, and political supporters of the military junta. For fifteen years China has refused to press its closest ally to allow its people human rights, and used its veto power to block the UN Security Council from acting. As a result, the UN is making the same mistakes it made on Darfur and Rwanda. We are calling on people of conscience throughout the world to BOYCOTT THE 2008 CHINESE OLYMPICS, join our efforts !
