NO BODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER!!!!!
At 12 Louise bunked school and was almost punished by not being able to visit her penpal Sam, whom she had met on holiday the previous summer. Thankfully her parents were soft so off she went. There she met Charlie, Sam's older sister who burst into Sam's bedroom at midnight, drunk, wearing a leather jacket and tight jeans after having been at an Ozzy concert. Louise knew that when she grew up she wanted to be just like her. She returned home with a Skid Row mix tape and history was made. Her door had a six foot poster of Hetfield on one side and Seb Bach the other. Her first boyfriend dumped her because he hated her doc martens. She didn't care, the next weekend she was in the arms of a guy with long hair, a bass guitar and an attitude problem. When asked what she majored in at uni she answered punk rock 101, which is pretty much the truth. Post-uni she put her love of music to something a little more useful. Having spent the past decade working as a music consultant and researcher for Television Louise spent her spare time doing the UK PR for labels such as Spinefarm and Napalm, salvaging a hardcore label she ran with her flatmate and writing for Metal Hammer and various webzines. She recently got lured away by a job that promised she could talk about Jon Nödtveidt and Clevo HC all day and is now fully ensconsed in the world of Terrorizer Magazine as their assistant editor. She has a thing about people writing in the third person, she finds it lame.
