About Me

I wake up every morning with dreams of music. This has been going on for 30 years now. I am eternally excited about creating my elusive masterpiece. And like an ambitious mountain climber, I have Mount Everest in the back of my head. But Iâ€™m saving it cause I like having it there! I had an opportunity to conquer the world I suppose. Big record co investing big money (about a million) But something inside me tends to shoot that idea in the foot.I once shared a big management stable with Suzanne Vega and Shawn Colvin. Suzanne was incredibly supportive and came to my gigs a lot. Shawn was supportive too but unlike Suzanne she needed to make it still and ended up being the squeaky wheel who got the oil. And maybe she was right. That wouldâ€™ve been against my hard earned philosophy â€“which came to me via daily yoga and eastern values. One day the manager said to me I want to change your life! I found that very aggravating. And our relationship slipped downhill after that. Now sometimes I wish that I had gone for it. Butâ€¦. And itâ€™s a big but. Where would it all have led me? Iâ€™m only living here!! And I want to live a long time. Something tells me that other thing might kill me.So here I am on My Space trying to keep my dreams afloat. I want to share my music with the world outside the big industry. I am an outsider and I tend to love other outsiders. Are you one?
