My name is Duke Robinson and I am currently a student at Centennial College where I am studying broadcasting & film. However, I am really there for the knowledge of film directing. I started out my career by being infront of thelens, but over the years I have fallen in love with writing and producing my own material. I think it is very important that us as black people have our own outlet for creative art. I truly love what I do and I don't see myself doing any other job. Many people see me out there with my video camera just doing the damn thing, but if you want something bad enough you will do anything to get it. At the end of the day I just want to be the best film director in the world and I am going to do what it takes to get there.
I've worked on many productions such as: Feature Film Project "Overtime", A Sony Playstation commercials "Sing Star", Sudz Sutherlands Short film "Coffee & Creame and many others. I've done my own project such as "How's It Going Down", Internet Gigalo, Girls Got Game, Hello Neighbour, and most recently a music video for up and coming artist Korexion. I've also completed two screen plays entitled, "Caught on Tape and "Why Man Shouldn't Get Married".
I'm looking to hook up with good people like Chris a.k.a Stikes and great directors such as RT, Mr. X, Hype Williams, and Sudz Sutherland. However, if anybody out there has a music video that needs to be shot or a short or feature film to be done then I'm your dude. Holla! LOL. And for all you haters out there DON"T LINK ME....No HATERS ALLOWED!
