At this time, unexplained zombie outbreaks were becoming more and more prevalent in the Southwest. But I wasn't big on watching the news or keeping up with current events. Last August, my girlfriend Lucy and I were shopping at the local mall)... errr... she was shopping... i was three minutes from putting a bullet through the back of my head)when we were attacked. Whatever they were, i had no idea at the time, i managed to fight most of them off... but Lucy was bitten. Over the next few hours, i thought i had lost her, she survived but she had become one of them. I couldn't lose her again. So, I chained her up and found someone who could help... but for a price. So, I bargained, and for only my indentured servitude and my eternal soul I got her back... well, part of her. But one day things will return to normal... until then, this is my life.
