The Airfield Studios are situated on the North Cornish coast, close to the small harbour town of Padstow and just five minutes away from the finest beaches in England. The studio location offers the privacy and surroundings to create the perfect atmosphere to compliment all types of recording work. Fully Catered on-site accommodation is available in three self-contained apartments, sleeping up to eight people. Recreational facilities include TV lounge, pool lounge, table tennis and relaxing gardens.Designed by Andy Munro, Studio A ensures the best possible recording environment with a high degree of accuracy from tracking to mixdown. A factory customised 56 channel Amek Hendrix console, together with Soundscape 24 track digital hard disc offers the very best in digital recording. Quested main monitors and extensive outboard. Comfortable and spacious, with natural daylight and views to the Atlantic, the wood, brick & Cornish stone building provides a warm atmosphere conducive to long hours of creativity. Large (30'x30') live room with three additional (live and dead) recording areas. Journey times from London to North Cornwall - rail: 4.5 hours, road: 4.5 hours and air:1.5 hours.
