About Me

Hi everyone. Thanks for visiting my page. I’ll just give you a little history and then get out of here.
I started out playing music in the family band with my brothers and my dad. Did the usual thing... played mostly club/bar gigs and did opening shows for some of the national artists that came through the area. We moved to Texas from WI when I was in my early teens and did the same thing there. About the time I was 16 or 17, we totally moved out of the house and traveled the U.S. for about three years. Yeah... we lived out of a motor home... cool to be constantly moving around the country at that age.
I have mostly worked in country bands, but I’ve also been in bands that did R&B, jazz standards, pop and dance music that was current at the time, and some original music thrown in there, too. My husband Jim and I had a blues band with a couple friends when we lived in Ohio a few years ago. We recorded the CD at that time too, although some of the musicians playing on it live in other parts of the country. That’s another story.
Since we moved to the Nashville area several years ago, I haven’t been playing gigs. What’s up with that? I am putting some stuff down on paper... just getting it out of my head. I hang out sometimes when Jim is playing drums in town or close by... some of the guys ask me to sit in and that’s always fun.
So thanks again for visiting... hope you enjoy the songs. Of the four songs on my page, two are original and the other two are written by Tracy Huffman... great songwriter... great friend. Stop by and see him live in MO.
Bye for now.
