I'm from Southeast Georgia and began playing music at the age of 9. I started playing honky tonks at the age of 15 and 10 years later decided I'd done about all I could possibly do in my small town. I moved to Nashville, TN. in early 2002 and quickly found I was again at square 1. I didn't start work for a month or so and basically lived downtown 7 days a week to learn as much as possible about how Music City worked. What I quickly found is that my minds eye of Nashville and what Nashville actually was couldn't have been more different.
Just like everyone else, I'm trying to write songs and play as much as possible. At this point, I play bass more than anything. I play for artist Kevin Sharp out on the road which is a lot of fun! I also play in a rock band called The Black Lucy's with my best friend Crawford Perkins that kicks ass! Otherwise, I stay busy writing, doing session work, and whatever random gigs come my way. During the day, I'm an inside sales rep for Gibson Guitar Corp. I consider myself very lucky to be surrounded with such talent as the Gibson Sales team. It trully is a family that I'm blessed to be a part of.
Alright, enough about me. Thanks for stopping by my internet residence.
God Bless
