Australian producer/engineer/cellist freelancing in London.... Recent credits include: Temposhark, The Seretones, Jackie Marshall, Greg Cathcart & Adrian Mauro, Dukes of Windsor, Plastic Palace Alice, The Hollow Bodies and Emma Heeney. I engineered for producer Jonathan Burnside (The Sleepy Jackson, The Melvins) in 2005-2006 at Eastern Bloc Studios, Melbourne. Prior to this, I worked at Newmarket Studios, Melbourne and freelanced as a location recording engineer in Brisbane. My days in Brisbane also included much time spent playing with Trinkets, The Golden Circles and The Sidewalk Regrets. My favourite way to record an album would incorporate the best elements of studio and location recording, which generally means recording drums/full band in a studio, then setting up in a house in the hills to record vocals and overdubs, then back to a studio for mixing!
