°NO DOCUMO TREVNO This super cool video montage was made by our good friend WIM DEWITTE.. myspace "mortt." / website "http://www.mortt.be". It's instrumental 'cuz at that time the only recordings available were instrumental...Cindy had only recently re-joined "NMT" full-time again. The live video footage was filmed at Rock 'n Troll Festival on July 7th, 006 in Ghent, Belgium then fused with track 4 off the 005 demo "Pitch Shifter". In December 006 we recorded our first tracks with vocals...Alllrrriiiiiiiiiggghhhht!!!!! ( order demos from us here by sending a message, 5 euro cd cost plus postage ) You can add the 007 demo tracks to your profile ( sorry, no downloads ). Track 1 "The Hitster" off the 005 demo won Demopoll 006 with Jan Hautekiet exclaiming "The Trevnos are the perfect band for a summer barbecue tour" ( we're in!!! ). 'Til now we played mainly instrumental music, Cindy surfed in and out of the band plus in between returned for occasional guest spots since the beginning in 1999 when we were a garage band ( literally, at David's with a crate 'o beer, Pieter's snare drum balanced on a chair, Cindy wailing through a kick-ass Laney powered-monitor and a big old sofa along the wall for the ever-present fanclub to bounce around on whilst cheering us on the entire rehearsal...Korneel en Co...those were the days!!! ). The three vocal songs we had during THE PUBE YEARS were an ode to Coen Brothers "The Big Lebowski". Song titles "The Dude", "Strike" and "White Russian". Those old shit-kickers are at least temporarily filed away under "nostalgia" now we're off to a fresh start with vocal numbers " I Like You ", " ( Yeah, You!! ) ", " Peach Pie 13 Steppin' Out ", "The NMT Special", "Porn Chicken" and "Soul Power" with more stuff out back in the tool shed. Influences have diversified but the core remains SURF. Now we got our feet dirty in a wide range of roots musical mud puddles...punk / blues / country / jazz / metal / hardcore / rock 'n roll / rockabilly...even...(ulp) pop. All aboard Kids, "The NMT Special" is reelin' 'round the corner 'n we got train capacity for all 'o ya...( YEAH, YOU!! )
