Some could say her color was green, because she surrounded herself with healthy relationships sealed with loyalty
I could say her color was black, because I’ve felt the Apostolic hand of her rebuke and correction
I could say her color was red, because I knew who was the true object of her affection
I could say her color was gray, because I saw her face some dark and dreary days
I could say her color was silver, because I saw her true personality glimmer in many ways
I could say her color was brown, because I saw her heart for children was like chocolate, very rich and sweet
I could say her color was peach, because she was grateful for what she had & in GOD stood whole and complete
Race was never an issue with her- she loved you, no matter your race, gender, religion, or creed
She opened her heart and home to many, and gave of herself to those who were in need
Yes, many people can name a color for her, and I’m sure all would be easily and appropriately fitting
Yet, I realize now that no one color truly captures her, as in His Glorious Presence, she is now sitting
Though many will miss her sweet presence here on earth, for reasons too many to name
I am at peace and happy for her, for she has now been rewarded what she longed to gain
So dear leader, I thank you for sharing yourself, and birthing me in Christ as my spiritual mother
