Controlled Voltage is now of FRIDAY nights from 9pm - Midnight on WCNI, New London. 90.9 on your FM dial and on the web at www.wcniradio.org
Fall 2007 - September - December...
The basic premise is 'A controlled voltage is sent to an oscillator; thus producing electronic music. Where it goes from there, who knows. I try to keep things upbeat (heck, it is Friday night) but I will sometimes school you in the history of electronic music with the occasional 'Vintage Volts' segment. Lately, I have started a 'Music for Commercials' set since I've noticed a lot of new music (that I play) is used in various ads. (especially Mocean Worker)
In addition to spinning on the air, I also do live events. If you are looking for a DJ for your next party, contact me!
I am also a 'dog person'. For the last 3.5 years, I let Heather (the Husky) into my life. I adopted her when she was nine. Unfortunately, I had to let her go at the old age of 12. The years finally caught up with her. But, I will suggest to anyone, if you want a dog, check out the shelters first. Oh, and Rachel Lutzker... She can keep me up to date on the traffic on I84 any time. I can watch those 'Traffic Cams' all day!

Music:

Anything that took months to record using obscure/prototype equipment (shitty beat boxes, Mellotron, etc). And anything with a casualty involved is good!

Seems like I see a movie every few weeks... Just saw the Rev. Billy flick. See it if you can find it!

Television:

Channel 3 News. Gotta get my Scot Haney/ Rachel Lutzker fix first thing!!! I was into the Earl / Office thing for a while... Just got into Lil' Bush - Hilarious!!!!
But of course, I like the commercials better than the shows - most of the time
I have started 'watching' William Sledd - Bitches!

Books:

I am more of a magazine / newspaper type of guy. I've taken a liking to The Onion - especially for the American Apparel ads on the back page...
