CHECK OUT MY PICS! We did it! My mom and the Committed Comrades, our team, successfully completed the Boston 3 Day on August 5, 2007. By far, one of my most amazing and inspirational accomplishments. During my participation, I got present to the real reason I walked 60 miles in 3 days. I walked for every child in the world so they will have a cure. In addition, I got that my mom is my hero! She took on her physical well being, turned 67 on August 5, and walked 60 miles like a champ! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Your presence is requested to support Susan B. Bond With Books: Kids Ignite Reading Every Night! My community project creates the possibility of empowerment. I see parents and children with an opportunity to be coached in shared reading at home. Many children need books in their houses and to be read to every night! 65% of Palm Beach County students score low on reading assessments.RE: Bond with Books/ Community Child Care Center, Delray Beach, FLMy project is a involves a combination of a workshop for 60+ caretakers/ children to promote reading at home.
