Music
Firstly: Pink Floyd followed by anything and everything jazzy, bluesy, rock and/or roll(y?) and anything before 1980. musically, I'm very eclectic... I like a lot of new things too but generally I feel that music has been way too commercialized but thats just what music has evolved to, its all about money now... but thats not necessarily bad, different strokes for different folks! but some folks like a lot of things, like panic! at the disco is manufactured, but they are a bunch of fun, and actually i find them to be pretty good writers (poor live musicians)... chiodos is prolly my favourite like hardcore band, they totally kick ass... but really when it comes to the artists that completely changed my life upon first listen, and now are my favourite artists, i'd say (in order): pink floyd (pre-1980 excluding a few tracks following that year), john lennon, bright eyes (conor oberst basically)... that man accomplished 3/4 of what john lennon did for me in the same amount of time... they have both inspired me... but not influenced/changed me or my ideals.
oh and favourite songs are:
Wish You Were Here- Pink Floyd,
Working Class Hero - John Lennon,
