Darren Anthony is on his way.Darren started at the tender age of 6, impressing family members and thier friends as the ultimate entertainer, until it was his time to shine. With stars in his eyes, Darren's first big break was with Trey Anthony in one of her first comedic presentations, called "You know you have a Black Mother..." which paved the way for Darren's acting and writing career. Growing up in Brampton ON, Darren began to find his love for theatre and dramatic presentation through his loving and encouraging sister Trey Anthony.Darren accredits much of his success to his sister Trey, who has inspired his current project "Secret's of a Black Boy", (Feb. 2007) writing and starring in his first short film (Fall 2007), and his much needed move to Toronto. As it stands right now...Darren has starred in your favourite commercials (Meow mix Cat food, Subway, Kellogs)Maintains a re-occurring role on the hit TV show "Da Kink in my Hair" (airing on Global in June 2007) And maintains rigorous acting seminars to expend his potential. Acting is his thing! With the red carpet waiting for this man to explode, Darren Anthony is definitely on his way to being one of Canada's best rising stars.
