Antonio

Antonio was born January 17, 1982 and is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a child, Antonio possessed an incredible gift/nack for music, especially singing. Antonio grew up in the church at Tabernacle of Faith Church, Inc. founded by the Late Bishop Alonzo W. McCloud, Sr., and is now under the leadership of Apostle Brenda McCloud. Antonio credits GOD for everything that has taken place in his life. He lives with the notion that "Without struggle, there can be no progress and without being pressed, there can be no oil(anointing)."Growing up Antonio fell in love wih Gospel Music. He enjoyed many artists, but was mainly influenced by: Cassandra McCloud Durant, Darryl Coley, Vannessa Bell-Armstrong, Kim Burrell, John P. Kee, and Marvin/Ron Winans. At the age of 14, Antonio was able to share the stage with Byron Cage wherein they sang "Just Knowing Jesus," a smash hit from Byron Cage's 1st Album.In 2001, Antonio began singing with Christopher L. Brinson & The Ensemble, who recorded such hits as "What If God" and "I Got Just What I Wanted." Antonio recorded on Christopher Brinson's most recent album, "A Better Way," which was produced by music extroidanaire, Cedric Thompson. Antonio traveled all over the East Coast with the Ensemble. In 2003, he joined arms with Mischeal Goldsmith and SOUL OUT. While with Goldsmith & SOUL OUT, Antonio was afforded many opportunities to open and share the stage with many gosepl greats including: Tonex, Virtue, Byron Cage, Debra Killins, Lisa McClendon, Donnie McClurkin, Ernest Davis Jr's Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, Kiesha McFarland, Kim Burrell and more.In October 2004, Antonio made a career move to Charlotte, NC. While in Charlotte, Antonio was favored to be a background vocalist for Pastor John P. Kee and New Life. He also attended New Life Fellowship Church, where John P. Kee is Pastor. While at New Life, he served as the Praise and Worship Leader as well as Tenor Section Leader for the Church Choir. Antonio was able to provide background vocals on "John P. Kee and the New Life Community Choir: The Reunion Project" and on projects that have not been released yet. While traveling with Pastor Kee, he was favored to meet and network with many people including: Tye Tribbett & GA, Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers, Rance Allen, Blanche McCallister, Rizen, and more.He currently resides in Washington, DC.
