FREE BO$$ G!!!!

Peace...welcome to my area! You've landed on the page of one truly blessed and forever grateful individual who is also a walking representation of God's grace. He's always first over here! The "mega-brief" story goes as such...I was diagnosed in May of 1998 with cancer just a few months before I was supposed to have been leaving home for engineering school in the attempt to turn a passion into a career. I started treatments in June beginning with six months of chemotherapy followed by two months of radiation. By February of 1999 I was given a clean bill of health and by May of that same year, again just a few months before the second attempt at engineering school and about a year to the day of my initial diagnosis, I had been diagnosed with having more cancer. I began two additional months of chemo, June and July, and then was given a "high-dose" chemo treatment in the hospital during August which was the equivalent to the six month dosage in the span of only a week. The final step before having to wear the "terminal" stamp came in the form of a last resort stem cell transplant which landed me practically lifeless on a hospital bed from September to October with only a 20% chance of survival. Shortly after the start of 2000 I was given another clean bill of health and finally left home for engineering school that May. After receiving my degree in May of 2001 I ended up in Atlanta, GA working at D.A.R.P. Studios (Dallas Austin Recording Projects) for about a year before jumping into production on my own in 2002. By mid-2003 I was forced to take time off and away from everything due to another cancer scare (false alarm) but was back in business by mid-2004 and have been doing freelance production through my company, THE BRICKYARD, ever since. So, in a nutshell and on the quick tip, ta-daaa...there it is! Anyway, give the music a once or twice-over. If you like it, I love it, and if it's not your bottle of liquor it's peace, too. I've never been a big fan of country music (no diss to those who are), but I've always been a fan of Johnny Cash and respected the man for his beliefs as well as for what his music represents. His attitude towards doing his own thing without being a sheep in this industry is proof that you don't have to conform to win. Even though he isn't part of the culture, I feel that he embodies the rebellious concept of "Hip-Hop" in the purest form. Do the knowledge if you don't already know. The picture below serves as inspiration to those who have repeatedly been pissed on in their pursuit for musical recognition on every scale. It serves as inspiration to ANYONE who has been told that what they do will never be enough to cut it, regardless of if your craft is music, dancing, painting, etc. Do what YOU do and do it passionately without worrying about what someone else may think. You never know who may be paying attention and what the end result will be...
