This duo of voice and harp has been developing music that is not always easy to catalogue. Despite of the origin of his work be in the jazz, it can't be linked to that label.Eduardo Raon and Ines Jacques met each other during the composition of Reconciliation, 2004 album of Hipnotica. Ines Jacques invites him to be her collaborator of a project that she took a long time to put in practice because she couldn't find till then the ideal partner. Since then they began, very slowly, to develop the music of this rare instrumental combination.
ELA-NÃO-É-FRANCESA-ELE-NÃO-É-ESPANHOL has worked and re-arranged mostly jazz standards and pop music. The result, is not jazz, because this instrumental combination is not lent to the swing, but it is precisely this point that becomes interesting in their work: what is the result of that music, that we are used to have a specific swing and groove, in this crude and exposed line, marked still by the versatility, humour and seriousness of the two musicians?
