Having a passion for Music I took up the Trumpet at 8 and the Violin at 9 through my Primary School. As i grew older I started to get more into the urban scene listening to Local Pirate radio stations to catch the latest Music. One of my mates at the time and local radio presenter invited me to his show to answer calls, I tagged along and one day was given the opportunity to cover a show for an absent DJ. I was the offered graveyard show but eventually worked his way up to hosting the Prime time Weekend Shows. While Djin in clubs and radio I had duod with Leicester Dj Direct D and then Scratchy 1. I have played alongside UK acts, China Black, Truce, Beverley night and Top Cat, After Djin around various clubs around the UK, i became a father, got a job and prioritised my life to a family one. After 5 years out of the music scene and after a break up of my marriage I decided it was time to get back into music but this time I started to focus my efforts on Rapping and Producing. Alongside my childhood friend and fellow rapper Maze, MIC (Mother Indias Children) was formed. My brother and brother in law are both producers they are Hooliyo and June 25th Respectively and the beats are mostly from them. July 2005 saw me in South Africa on vacation visiting family and while there i gave some Cds out in a nightclub. I managed to get onto a radio interview on Eastwave 92.2fm, which broadcasts in Johannesburg and am looking to go out there to do a show in 2007. In February this year after the completion of my EP, I had the track I Pray in the homegrown track of the week challenge on Ras Kwames show BBC 1Xtra. In March 2006 I had an interview in the Eastern Eye Newspaper and in April / May I shot a video for my track Whats the time? which US rapper Minus P, kindly came to the UK for amidst his busy schedule. I was the future friction artist in July 06 for the Bobby Friction show on the BBC Asian Network. Over the summer of 2006 i did a couple of Melas, the biggest being in Leicester, where my performance was scheduled in between The Kray Twinz and Raghav..that was a banging show to do.. Nuff love to Sabras for sorting that Veena V from Club Asia Online put me as one of her featured artists for the Top Dog Weekly Challenge with 'Bhangra Song'.. which won after a week of voting and is now playlisted on their station.Over the balance of 2006 i have made new material for a next mixtape/album and been working with new artists for collabo projects.. Watch out for work with - Jalporte, Swift 89, ET, JD, Deadly Alliance and more.. with the hottest beats comin from hooliyo, June 25th, First blood, Dirty Sweet, LEStarz, Brutal..
