Since 1984, I have been operating REC Networks , which has been involved in various projects that entertain, inform and support our communities.
I WANT MORE DERBY!
OSDA roller derby is coming to Phoenix!
I am the vice president of the VALLEY FEVER ROLLER DEMONS here in the Phoenix area! This league, founded by fans is affiliated with the Old School Derby Association (OSDA), which is a national organization that supports the revival of the old style of roller derby. Once you see it, you will notice the interesting differences in the rules. It's not better derby, just different derby.
Please note that I am still a big fan of the AZDD, AZRD, Renegades, TRD, Cactus Pricks and the Derby Brats. I will do everything I can to support those leagues too.
PLEASE SUPPORT INCLUSION FOR ALL WOMEN AND MEN IN ROLLER DERBY.

My Interests

Amateur Radio, broadcasting, broadcast engineering, Japan, blindness, adaptive technology, Ireland, UK, public transportation, telecommunications, modern history, telephones, VoIP, internet audio streaming, grassroots causes, roller derby, travel industry, airline industry, satellite television, cable television, anime, GLBT workplace issues, photography, pin-up models, creativity.

I'd like to meet:

I am always interested in meeting people who have common interests that I do.

Right now, I would like to make some friends. I may be 39, I feel like I am about 25. I think this is because I was pretty much denied my youth by my parents. I have very few friends who are as old or older than I am.

Music:

I like a mix of 70's and 80's. I am also very much into Japanese popular music (JPOP) from the 2000 decade. I can pretty much listen to anything. I do not follow any specific band or artist so I can keep an open mind. I am also a fan and collector of radio station ID jingles (those singing call letters you hear on the radio).

Movies:

Airplane!, UHF, A League of Their Own, Ghostbusters, Transamerica, Pump Up The Volume, FM, Wargames, Frequency, Cars (mainly because of the Route 66 references)

Television:

Law and Order, Deal or No Deal, Las Vegas, old game shows, anime, Krofft Supershow

Books:

Who has time to read?

Heroes:

I am not into hero worship.
