I feel at my best when I am on a walk with someone close to me in nature. I am at my most contemplative when on my own however, and my paintings come from many forest walks and beside the sea, thinking and wondering about the old days and old memories. I am ruled by my feelings and that comes out in my art and poetry. I think every creator has this need to be understood, and especially these days when people seem so cold and hard hearted and unloving and selfish. I use my artwork to talk to people about how i'm feeling even though the meaning might be a bit obscure :O
I am a dreamer, and even though i'm walking through a world of grey sometimes, i still see colour when people smile at me, or i see some random act of kindness happening before my eyes, and suddenly i realise that love is what life is all about, and the more all of this hatred goes on, the darker the days seem to get. What's it all for i ask myself. And i think that the meaning of life at least for me, adds up to my love for nature and my gratitude to my creator, and also good friends and love....anything else just seems trivial to me
I see myself as an old romantic, i like the simple things and i still believe in it. I believe that women should be protected by men, even if the woman is a stranger to the man. It appalls me how much women are mistreated and taken for granted in this world. We were all born of women, every single one of us, and would never have seen the beauty of life without their patience and care.
I believe that love is at the centre of the world, and that all things were originally created out of love. Without love and peace, life for humans, animals and nature cannot exist. On a personal level, life for us as individual humans exist, yet life in the body, but no love in the heart creates the abyss and soon that is a dangerous thing to fall into. Therfore to love on a personal and a worldly level is the only way to fully live.
i desire peace for all people, all races, and i believe that it can be achieved. But it involves greed and power being dethroned. I believe that if you value greed and power much higher than love, then that's something you have to fix in yourself as you're focusing on the things that impact you and everyone else in a negative way.
