I used to feel insecure telling people that I was single, never married, with no kids. Maybe that's because they would gasp at the news and put a hand on my arm and say, "I'm so sorry to hear that", as if I were dying of cancer or something. Now, not only have I moved passed my feelings of insecurity, I've come to realize how fortunate I am to have such a great and uncomplicated life, and I know that most people would trade with me in a second! I do date, but I keep meeting guys with bad teeth, or small hands, or guys who can't dance, or live with their mother. Translation: I keep finding excuses not to have to share my life with someone, yet alone the remote to my DVR! So, I fill my time with work, family, friends, hiking, kayaking, walking my dog, working out, movies, shows, art, sports, and pretty much anything else you can think of. I am definitely NOT bored!
