Distortion 'Til Deafness is an internet punk radio show that plays classic and obscure punk.It is hosted by Steve Distraught. It usually is bi-weekly unless life gets in the way as it sometimes does. In the fall of '86 to the fall of '87 I did a radio show called"Over the Edge" on WKKL(Cape Cod Community College's radio station) which was supposed to be a 2 1/2 hour show, but because the dj before me was lazy it usually ended up being 3 hours. My record collection was significantly smaller then so filling 3 hours was a little challenging, but I think I managed. Well after '87 I had no opportunity to do any sort of broadcasting what so ever. An English friend started a "radio station" website and got involved. Distortion 'til Deafness #1 was completed on 9/18/05 and was a welcome return to doing something I fell in love with as a teenager which is sharing music that deserves to be heard. I have been around the punk scene for a long time so I do my best to play a huge variety of all the subgenres of punk. Many apologies for those who have been waiting for a new show. I have been busy, but mostly the reason is I have been waiting for Radio Noodles to get it's problems resolved(which hasn't happened yet...
