My birthday falls on St. Patrick's Day! Makes feel everyone is celebrating with me!
Nivia was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in the United States since her childhood. Singing, writing songs, and playing the guitar have always been her passion. She received her first guitar at the age of 11 and it has been her constant companion throughout the years. Nivia is influenced by a variety of music styles. She is a talented songwriter writing songs in Spanish and English in hopes of bringing cultures together with her music. Her original music resonates Latin, Rock, Pop, Ballad, and other genres. She writes lyrics from the heart, incorporating the guitar, which results in her bringing forth a new and exciting sound. Nivia's songs are both romantic and inspirational. Nivia's love for music is evident when you hear the passion in her voice during performances.
As a teacher, she has been able to integrate her artistic abilities into the classroom to enhance understanding of the concepts being taught. She continues to impact her students by composing music and lyrics for special occasions. Nivia's goal is to share her heartfelt music with audiences of all ages.
