Formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan in late 2006, these 3 college friends decided to form a band as a result of several days of solid jamming. They started in Randall's basement and eventually moved into a studio across town so that they could truly focus on writing and playing. While each member definitely has their strengths, terror!dactyl would be not what it is and what it sounds like without any one of them. Each member brings something to the table in terms of creativity and ingenuity. Kyle Patterson, originally from Ravenna, MI, has played guitar since high school and is mainly influenced by a funk and indie sound. He likes to go dancing and enjoys long walks on the beaches of Lake Michigan, where when he's not going for a stroll, he's relaxing on his couch that he carries with him everywhere he goes, even to the beach. Jack Johnston, originally from Shelby Twp., MI, has played many an instrument in his life, but learned bass specifically to play in terror!dactyl. He brings his extrovert personality and his unique perspective to writing and music to the band and it is apparent in the songs he influences. At terror!dactyl shows, Jack controls the crowd with his ridiculous jokes and random comments. Randall Seltz, originally from Harrison Twp., MI, has played drums since the seventh grade. He was in several bands throughout high school, none of which ever amounted to anything. He is influenced by his eclectic taste in music and literature as well as his interest in writing and rocking out. Together, terror!dactyl stands as a one-of-kind band that is not easily mimicked or even easily compared to anything else out there. Terror!dactyl is the band that will be on top of everyone's best thing to hit 2007 list, so watch yourself Kevin Federline!
