About Me

LINES, MISS LEADING
LINES, MISS LEADING
LINES, MISS LEADINGDear Local Musicians,
We're looking for a new, serious lineup that wants to write, record and eventually tour together. We'd like to meet anyone who would enjoy playing music of a similar feel and style to, but in no means derivative of:
Bloc Party, Minus The Bear, Tokyo Police Club, Radiohead, The Photo Atlas, We Are Scientists, The Kinison, Foals, Kiss Kiss, Phoenix, Dr. Manhattan, Ra Ra Riot.
Got the idea?
Currently we're a singer/songwriter/guitarist and drummer. Would like at least one more guitar, bass and someone good with keys or sound modulation. If you play a cello or violin that's cool too! Maybe you sing very well? That could be a possibility too.
The idea is that everyone brings something to the table and we hash out songs together, experimenting with interesting arrangements, effects and live-sound processing techniques to mix electronic and acoustic instrumentation for a very "album-like" performance.
Please send a message if you're a creative, dedicated, DIY-type that wants to be a part of something that's as much about friendship and fun as it is about actively pursuing a goal.
Thanks,
Jon and Brian
