Marty Wolfe has been active in Country Music for over 20 years. After fronting the bands Southwind and Texas Heat, he joined The Longhorn Band as one of three lead vocalists to play New Country. In the summer of 1992, he toured Germany with one of his guitar heroes, Bob Wootton. After the Longhorn Band's breakup in late 1996, he opened up Texas Heat once again to return to real Country Music and more sparse arrangements. After a time-out of several years, he came back working on and off with Rebound from Switzerland. After having met Mandy Strobel, a singer/songwriter from Ulm, back in 2004, Marty and Mandy formed a formidable duo that has gotten great reviews for their original material as well as their strictly traditional Country sound. As of February 2008, Marty will go back to a new (yet not so new) Texas Heat formation, with a CD finally due in 2008. The new band will be presented at the Country Music Messe in Berlin.
