Whats poping people its d.j jaspino don from silk city f.m birmingham.If you would like to holla at me anytime just do so or if your a producer and would like to send me your tracks to listen or promoting a track do so by sending me a message or email address and i'll get back to you as soon as possible.I originally started as a jungle drum and bass m.c at the age of 13 yes i was young but by getting inspired by my brother jarried a.k.a d.j chubby who lived in north london being very well know for alot pirate radio stations and under 18's drum and bass raves it was not long on till i was totally hooked and change for ever that's when it all started for me, R.I.P jarried a.k.a d.j chubby your never be forgotten love you always.Improving very quickly in a year by alot pratice from bying drum and bass records in london to m.cing on a one deck stereo with my older brother m.c c and local friends like d.j z.e.d and m.c g.t.Having contacts with d.j's and promoters in the scence i moved on to local radio station midlands kool f.m and became my music career as one of if not the best m.c on kool f.m at the time.After m.cing for 2 years my love for mixing started as i was already bying drum and bass records but not frequently at first only ontill 1998 djing became serious and a year later silk city f.m started and took birmingham by storm it was the biggest thing to ever come out of birmingham being the number house garage and drum and bass station out side of london.I brought alot of house and garage but played drum and bass for 2 years, then the jaspino and snipes combo started by me bringing him on to my garage show.2002-03 we played in local clubs playing 4/4 basslines. If you know about garage most likely you will know about speed garage, 4*4, and bassline house the biggest thing going on up north now for the last 5 years straight.If your from london most of you are feeling 2 step/garage/or grime which is big down south but alot different to what where listening and raving to in birmingham, sheffield, nottingham, walsall, wolverhamtom, derby, bradford, leeds and manchester.Anyway about me now i've been d.jing for 8 years but original a jungle drum and bass m.c at 14 years old i was the youngist m.c on birmingham's kool f.m in 1995.Silk city f.m blessed the air ways in febuary 1999 i played drum and bass for the firsr year we came on and then started playing garage with d.j big mikee who i also played drum and bass with at the time.I've allways had a massive love for 4 to the floor garage at the time 2 step was getting played alot it absolutely took over between 1999 and 2003.As we all know garage died a horrable death after the aya napa era finaly it was time to the scence to split and make 4*4 basslines speed garage and bassline house break through up north and grime break through down south that's what happen.
