Long story short... these two brothers were thugged out, drug dealing pimps. Both Young Jabez and Ghetto Missionary were well known on the streets of Anchorage, Alaska as being notorious criminals. During Missionary's federal incarceration of 5 years he came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Over the next 2 years Jabez would do likewise. Jabez did 3 years state time during which both of these fellaz were getting rooted in the Word and filled with the Spirit. After being released about the same time, these two ex-partners in crime would soon become partners in ministry. They formed an alliance of partners in ministry in the Anchorage area (of which Christ's M.C. aka C-MC is a major part of) and thus was formed Edification Muzik. Formely known as Baby-J (Alaska's #1 Selling Rap Artist) Young Jabez is using that recognition to launch an influential ministry along side Ghetto Missionary formely known as K-Macc (Baby-J's Hard Hitting Main Producer). Together, they plan to carry out the mission of using music as the platform to reach the youth and the culture of Hip-Hop. It is a wonder and a beauty to see the marvelous work that God can do in the life of someone who all else reject as hopeless. This is why these brothers are so fired up with passion and grace to reach the lost streets that are neglected by some as useless, with the greatest story ever told through hip-hop: the Gospel... Slick Rick doesn't even exist in comparison. With the affiliation of Christ's M.C. who brings the versatility in beats, spits, concepts and delivery, these boys are covering large terrain. I think that their music and message will be felt and appreciated by many on all coasts.
