Innamorato del Progressive, e del Rock, dopo la formazione classica, si dedica allo studio del jazz e delle tecniche piu moderne con i maggiori nomi del panorama Italiano. Dopo aver militato in innumerevoli progetti di musica inedita e coverband, fra cui si ricordano le collaborazioni con il cantautore Emanuele de Francesco, o l'esperienza di turnista occasionale con i grandi del panorama Italiano come Enrico Ruggeri, approda dietro agli 88 tasti dei FireTrails, una delle piu importanti band del panorama heavy-italiano. Questa nuova avventura lo porta ad approfondire lo studio dell'hammond, e della programmazione dei synt, ritrovandosi su palchi come il Palalido di Milano con i DeepPurple, sui palchi di GlenHughes, L.A.Guns, e come HeadLiner al GodsOfMetal 2006. Con questa band incide l'album ThirdMoon, distribuito in gran parte d'Europa e dal quale viene realizzato il videoclip "Spaces and Sleeping Stones" che accompagna le numerose apparizioni televisive su RockTV. Sempre con i FireTrails partecipa con il medesimo brano al progetto di MarioRiso "Rezophonic". Parallelamente collabora con la QueenTribute-Band "The Game", ed è tastierista/fondatore della band rock-progressive "Looking 4 a Name" con cui pubblica nel 2007 il concept-album d'esordio "TETRAGRAM". Larsen è il curatore e Produttore Artistico della giovane band pop MrWhiteRabbit, dal 2007 per conto di CMP-Italy per WarnerMusicItalia. Da sempre appassionato delle nuove tecnologie, dell'home recording, e della pubblicazione web, e fondatore del portale italiano www.kurzweilkomunity.it, uno dei principali punti di riferimento per i tastieristi della nostra penisola. Larsen was born in 1984 and is deeply in love with rock and progressive music. But first he received a classical musical education. Thereafter, he started learning the language of jazz and the most advanced piano techniques from some of the greatest italian artists (such as Mario Rusca and Marco Bianchi). From this point, Larsen played with many cover bands, on many original music projects (one of the more important being a contribution to the work of songwriter Emanuele De Francesco) and as a freelance musician (most notably, Enrico Ruggeri). It’s after this period he was invited to play keyboards for Fire Trails, one of the most famous heavy metal bands in Italy. This new adventure led him to improve his Hammond and synth-programming techniques. Plus, he was able to really hone his studio and live chops as he recorded and toured with Fire Trails on their 2005 studio album “Third Moon, ” which was distributed in several EU countries. He also had the good fortune to take part in the video-clip based on the song “Spaces and Sleeping Stones”. This video often accompanies many of his appearances on RockTV together with Pino Scotto. Moreover, with Fire Trails he took part in the project “Rezophonic” of the drummer Mario Riso. The great success of the band has enabled him to share the stage with Deep Purple (at the Palalido in Milan), and on other occasions, Glenn Hughes and L.A. Guns, as well as the great gig at the Gods Of Metal 2006 as headliner.But that’s not enough for Larsen! He’s also the co-founder of L4AN, and works with the Queen tribute-band, “The Game”. He’s also always been a lover of new technologies, home-recording and web publishing. It’s for this reason he created the website www.kurzweilkomunity.it. It’s one of the most important reference points for keyboard players in Italy. Furthermore, he’s a keyboard teacher at the “Skull of Rock” and “RockTV” music schools and is the proud producer of “Sorrows” and “Mr. White Rabbit”. He is the first endorser in Italy of the “Receptor” by MUSE RESEARCH for “Rod’s Garage.” Larsen plays Kurzweil keyboards, Clavia and Korg racks, Fouke Industrial lapsteel guitar, Molinelli electric guitars, and uses Sennheiser wireless systems.
