Band Members: Chris "Tex" Foreman - This East Texas native was the backbone member of his High School choir and led them to two appearances at the Texas State Championship. If you listen to him sing a song - You will know why. His knack for song writing, his 3.8 Grade Point Average and his unsatiable thirst for lyrical miracles make Christopher A. Foreman a diamond in the rough and the real brains behind A Gentleman's Band. Chris enjoys fantasty football, making great catches in center field, taking on all challengers in Mario Party & improving model trains, mainly in the area of heat retention. Scott Nelson - Scott "Scotty" Nelson is known back home as the "Pride of the Entire State of Washington." BAM - he just wrote a song that will make you clutch your sides in amazement. BAM - he just danced a two step on your living room floor. BAM - he just made you feel welcomed into his home. BAM - he just quoted the funniest movie you've never heard of. BAM - he just riffed out a solo that makes Eric Clapton look like Yoko Ono. Thats right folks, Scott Nelson is a gentleman and always has been one. With his keen feel for cooking, his freakish (yet ever so gentle) strength and one hell of a set of pipes makes Scotty the real heart and soul of A Gentleman's Band. Matthew McQueen - If Chris is the Brains and Scotty is the Heart & Soul, then Matt is the Fifth Column, the Fourth Leg and the Third Degree. While he can barely carry a tune in a bucket he stands firmly on the age-old adage "You don't have to be a singer to sing a song." He is a highly toted mandolin extrordinaire who has sat in with such names as Reid Walton, Howdy List, Operation Pantelones, The Story of Oceanic Cloning, Jaundis John the Phenomenon and many more. Although he plays basically the opposite of a bass, he takes on the bass players roll in the band in ways like: Driving the Tour bus, making sure everyone gets enough to eat, keeping basic time on stage and looking good all at the same time. Influences: There are so many...this is all pretty well-worn territory...to answer the question at this point seems a little trite.
