About Me

About six years ago, I started a band called Simply Slang . We did two independently released CDs, sold a few records and played anywhere and everywhere we could, gaining a cult-following in countries like Australia, Brazil, Spain, Italy and the U.K.I loved the experience, but after years of lineup changes, management issues and financial disputes-I got fed up, and went solo. And I couldn’t be happier-Less money to split (not that I was making that much anyway), and if something goes wrong, I can only blame myself.I love to play. After all, this is all I do. I don’t have a day job, so sitting around twiddling my thumbs isn’t really an option. Just last year alone, i’ve done a demo, released a single, had a track on a compilation, made a couple of television appearances and inked deals with two record labels. Not so bad, I guess. Currently, i’m finishing up the work on my debut full-length solo release Ten Times Three, which I expect to be available in stores by June of ’08.Over the years, my music has been classified in every sub-genre you can probably think of (Glam, Punk, Power Pop, Sleaze). You name it, and i’ve been labeled it. Call it what you want-I call it rock & roll. That’s it. I do things my own way. Sometimes I sing, sometimes I scream. Sometimes I strum, sometimes I shred. But I ALWAYS play with attitude. For me, that’s the only way to play.
