IF YOU READ MY PAGE PLEASE READ THIS!!.....It Don't Get More Real Than This..By: Wayne.....Man, on your blog you talk about boxing and how it treated you. You don't owe nobody an explaination on what happened in boxing. I know how people hated on you and how they still do, but ask yourself a question. How many of them have been where you have been? How many people out there can say that they were the number one fighter in the most competetive divisions in boxing, during a time when there were GREAT fighters in your division? How many can say that people like Felix Trinidad, Ike Quartey, Pernell Whitaker, and Oscar De La Hoya avoided fighting you, not because they had better fights in front of them, but because they would loose their title. People laugh, make jokes and talk shit, but ask them what have they done with their life. Most of the people that talked bad about you have never done anything worthe mentioning. It's easy as hell for someone to sit on the sideline and say what they would have done if they were in your shoes, but if it was soo easy, why are they spending time on talking shit to you about what you could have or should done and not done it themselves? Only people that have the right to say anything negative are the people who have been there and done that. I have not once read or seen in an interveiw a Champion talk down on you. People who work their asses off for 50,000 a year don't mean shit. You have made their intire salary in one night. You didn't come into the game on the strenght of nobody but God. You don't have a famous last name, you don't have a famous father or family member, you didn't go to the Olympics. You did it from the bottom floor and worked your way up. You weren't given that number one spot, you worked hard and took it. Remember that that next time someone tries to get you out of character. 10 years ago they were your biggest fans and now they don't love you no more. You know the people who really love you and care for you, fuck the rest. I was reading some of the comments people left you and the one that stood out the most was from your son. No matter if you have millions of dollars or just one, he is going to love you forever. Remember that Derrell. You and Marlon are the closest thing I have to being brother. I always wanted brother and it meant the world to me everytime someone I knew ran into you and you would say "Yeah, you know my lil brother Wayne" Just wanted you to know that.
