Hi im Roy Jones Jr the greatest p4p boxer of all time. Anyone who knows anything about me wil know that in 1988 i was the victim of the biggest travesty in amateur boxing history when i was robbed of the olympic gold medal by a korean in korea (what a suprise).
I won my first ever world title against Bernard "The Execuioner" Hopkins when we fought for the vacant IBF middleweight championship! Not long after this i moved up to super middleweight where i challenged James "Lights Out" Toney for the IBF title at that weight! This was the first of many of my worlwide TV masterclasses as i soundly whipped his ass!
Super middle though was not where i would stay and i moved upto light heavy where i eventually would become the undisputed king.
Critics though were so eager to see me get beat that they were all complaining that i never took up a real challenge and wanted to see me move right up to heavyweight (baring in mind i started as a light middle) and challenge for a title there. Eventually i decided to give them what they wanted and moved up to heavy (although i weighed in at less than the cruiserweight limit) and challenged the then WBA heavyweight champion John Ruiz. Again i soundly whipped this guy (who defeated Evander Holyfield may i add)and i had another title to go with all the others i had won.
You may hear a lot of things about me such as i dont always fight the best in the world but ive defeated more supposed p4p champions than any other boxer fighting today and if that aint good enough for you then you obviously like a lot of the media just plain dont like me, but am i bothered? I dont think so after all ive still got plenty of fans that still love to see me fight!
So if your a roy jones fan dont hesitate add me. It will be the best thing you ever do!
