HEAVEN ON EARTHMy deepest hope is that very soon, all the people of this world will be able to remove hatred, without exception, from their minds and hearts. Only then can we truly have peace and harmony in this world. This means that we must realize our connection to each other, to realize that when we hurt another, we are hurting ourselves on a fundamental level. We must realize that any negative thoughts we hold against another ultimately comes back to harm us. I hope that someday, we will all be able to see what we do to our world with every ugly thought we have about another person. I hope that someday, everyone will know how to make our world beautiful by keeping only kind, loving thoughts in our minds and hearts. It is my hope that people will learn to carry only love in their hearts, leaving no room for the ego traits of greed, jealousy, anger, hatred and misery. I hope that people will be able to stop watching the news that continues to pour upsetting, terrorizing, anger-inducing images and stories down our throats, in the realization that it only perpetuates the same to continue on throughout the universe. I hope that somehow, people will come to know that God is not some being outside ourselves whom we can only access through a church or a preacher, because God is within each and every one of us, and that all we need to do is shut off all the noisey TVs and radios to hear that God who will tell us the truth- that we have the power to change our world for the better by changing our minds. Ultimately, my hope is for all of humanity to wakeup and understand that we are stuck in a negative feedback loop, and that our only hope for survival is stop the cycle of negativity that continues today to bring us all down and infect our children, and will ultimately destroy our world if we don't stop it. This can be done by changing our individual minds to reflect a more positive reality by embracing ideas such as peace, tolerance, love and compassion. We must make this fundamental change within ourselves by becoming proactive, defeating the ego and becomming more like God, to stop the current, negative trend that will eventually doom humanity to a hell that we will have created for ourselves because we were too lazy to make the effort. This work within ourselves may not be easy, but nothing worth having is easy now is it? If you are reading this now, and you think I'm full of it, I beg you to just get quiet for a minute and ask yourself a question: what is the current trend in our society and what will the end result be if nothing changes? We all know that it is hopeless to try to change another person, but what isn't hopeless is to change yourself. It is possible, but YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE. I beg you to please think about this over the next few days. Think about children growing up now. Think about how the world has progressed in just the last ten to fifteen years and how it'll be in another ten if nothing changes. Change yourself and you can change the world!
