Thanks for stopping by!!! Unfortunately we couldn't switch our original site over to the music side of myspace, so here's our new home on myspace! Cheers!!! Born in 1999, on long ass break now! Check out our tunes! http://www.fizzkicks.com/mindstrap I we did a lot in about 3 years, Aftyer about 8 months together we wrote about 22 songs, Won a contest with 96.5 wcmf in Rochester NY and got to open for Poison, Cinderella, Dokken & Slaughter at the Fingerlakes performing arts center in Canandaigua NY Summer 2000. Thanks to the late, great DJ, Unkle Roger from CMF, we were featured many times on his HomeGrown show and we listed with some of his favorite bands of all time. In 2001 we won another battle of the bands contest with Platinum Entertainment and got to go to the 2001 SXSW--South by Southwest music and film festival in Texas where we met many great artists, some that are hot today. We did many shows at some great venues around NY, like the Haunt in Ithica, Letchworth Pines in Portageville NY, Many Rochester clubs--Milestones, Tremors--now Steel Music Hall, Waterstreet Music Hall, Penny Arcade and many others. Life changes, marriage and careers put a hold on the music in 2002. Chris "bass" & Mike "drums" went on to form Builtbroken with Aaron Burton on Guitar & Vocals--which is also on break. John and Danielle got married and took a break, later coming out with their band Jadens Theory which included Dave Clary of the Richard IV band--Now called Scattered Ink and drummer, Joe Myers of Spirit of Ontario, as far as a Reunion??? Who knows!!! I think we all had a great time and accomplished a lot doing the Mindstrap thing.
