I like taking long walks on the beach... Well, it sounded good anyway! Seriously though, I like to sing in bands when ever I get the chance. I love to write, mostly poetry although I haven't written in quite some time. I like to draw or paint and I won an art scholarship and attended a course in the Chicago Art Institute years ago. Basically I am a fun loving person and enjoy friends and family. I love to make people laugh. I like to dine out or cook. Yes I know how and I enjoy that to. Oh, and I'm crazy about cats, all kinds! Love to listen to music at home. That's my favorite past time.

Now that's a can of worms! The closest and only to heavy metal, and I said "Only" is Metalica, and I don't like any other heavy metal bands, okay?! So all you other guys find some other friend. My music interest is a vast and wide spectrom of many different styles. NO HARDCORE HEAVY HEAD BANGING METAL MUSIC, please! I like the ones that make my eyes tear up or just give me goose bumps, you know. I love John Melloncamp, Pink, Madonna, Cat Stevens, Janice Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Knapp, Tori Amos, Shakira, Joss Stone, Heart, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Ozzy Ozbourne, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Hot Tuna, BB King, Fleewood mac, Dixie Chicks, Neil Young, Robin Trower, Rob Thomas, Jack Johnson, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Beatles, Train, Storyville, Tommy Castro, Jimmy Hendrix, Stevie Ray Voughn, Albert Collins, ZZ Top, Tom Jones, The Cranberries, Matchbox Twenty, C.C.R., some jazz, most country singers to, most all the blues, old and new, and most of the classic rock from the late 60's and 70's.
Movies:
Ghost In The Darkness, Titanic, Ride With The Devil, Gladiator, Pride ..All of Al Pacino movies, I like ones that make me laugh, and sadly the ones that make me cry to, shows good acting I suppose, but also drama, suspense thrillers, horror flicks, and sometimes romance or movies about animals. If the acting is good, gosh, I like it all!
Television:
For shows or series I get into Court TV, King Of Queens,My Name Is Earl, Medium is my favorite show of all!, Heroes, Dead Like Me, Rescue Me, Sopranos, Deadzone, and Supernatural.
Books:
I don't read that much but I would get into a good biography, or self help. Lord knows I need it!
Heroes:
My very first heroes to mention were my mom and dad because raising six girls must have been hell!! Then there's John Mellencamp who has been my idol since "way back in the day".
