About Me

Hello, this is plan9promotions! we do gigs in and around Thanet, mostly Margate, mostly the LIDO cliff bar in Cliftonville. had some pretty decent bands from accross the uk, europe & the states in our time, some of those include; BLOOD RED SHOES, SETTLEFISH, BEEZEWAX, MOLIA FALLS, JENIFEREVER, TIGERFORCE, THE SEARCH, SOMETREE, LOGH, JETTIE, THE SURROUNDED, THIS BEAUTIFUL MESS, CHARLOTTEFIELD, MY AWESOME COMPILATION, EDEN MAINE, MIA RIDDLE, DENNIS DRISCOLL, POPULAR WORKSHOP, ECONOLINE, FREE DIAMONDS, ILL EASE, AUDREY, WE ARE SOLDIERS, PEGGY SUE & THE PIRATES, FORESAKE YA TO THE SNAKESS, BEAUTY SKOOL DROPOUT, YOU JUDAS, VIKINGS OF STEEL, JAIRUS, BOSSK, UP C DOWN C START, CRUISER CHIMPS, (LOOK LOOK)DANCING BOYS, THE 303 & LE TETSUO amongst countless others. don't really have a preference when it comes to choosing bands to play, i myself like the music of Elvis Presley, but so long as it's dirty rock & roll fun (electro to post rock punk hardcore spaz funk garage) we like to keep a healthy mix of everything. if your in a band and fancy yr chances at a quaint seaside venue (that's not in any way like the phoenix nights type of clubland you've seen on tv) then get in touch asap. we have a good scene going on and we like to party, plus if you need it there's always a place to crash, pizza to eat and drink to go round. mx

My Interests

i like a drink. watch a lot of old movies, some new ones. i own more music than i can hear and now & then i dress up as elvis. my life isn't that complicated, i arrange shows at a delightful sea-side venue (see below), i enjoy meeting bands, talking music & watching drunk people dance at discos. i've got tickets for built to spill in may, i'd certainly like to see regina spektor some more and i'm possibly going to a festival in barcelona this summer. be seeing you.

good people/bands/artists/human beatboxers & puppeteers always wanted for good shows. if your tempted, but not sure about playing margate, remember they once filmed an episode of 'only fools and horses' here and both morrisey and chas n dave have written songs about it, so reconsider baby. mx I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
