Deconstruct. Understand. Rebuild.

About Me

MANY LAYERS/ ONE LOVE (MLOL) is an online collective, established to foster communication and strengthen ties within Toronto's Hip Hop dance industry. This is a space where you can find event information, articles and different media that encourage a new definition of Hip Hop - one that is gender inclusive, multicultural and non-violent. Most importantly, it is a space where those who are silenced within the industry can have a voice and a place where revloutionary ideas can be borne.______________________________________________________ ________OUR MISSION STATEMENT:To foster community and strengthen ties within Toronto's Hip Hop dance industry. To deconstruct the dominant ideas within Hip Hop culture and understand how they are maintained and reproduced. To redefine Hip Hop dance as a multicultural, gender inclusive, non-violent and positive cultural movement.
