About Me
Having been involved with the music and promotions industry since 1994 I was given an opportunity to start helping DJ Chris C who was running Visions at the ST Paul’s complex at the time. Visions was an underground R&B and Hip-Hop club. I became part of a successful promotions group called Hype Entertainment involved with organising U18 RNB nights. I enjoyed the opportunity to be part of the scene and working in a challenging environment due to the challenges with the popularity of RNB and the club scene at the time.
In 1995 I landed a job working at Margauxs in the Hilton International Hotel helping with promotions. This was an R&B Club called Vibes on a Saturday night and a Greek night on Friday nights. I assisted in organising and planning Greek nights, Concerts and a bar at the Dimetria Festival. I was also a part of Hellenic Promotions, 2004 Entertainment and VM Power Promotions. This again provided new experiences and fuelled my passion for being involved with planning and promoting events. After promoting and organising events for several years I had first hand experience in seeing what works and what doesn’t.
Having listening to the same DJs playing the same thing week in week out and having wanted to get involved with DJ’ing myself, in 2000 I got my first decks, set a goal and decided to go for it. It wasn’t easy at first. The DJ industry being a male dominated scene it was always going to be hard to get a foot in the door, receive the same level of respect from other DJ’s and especially when trying to play non-commercial music.
In 2001 I received my first real break. I was given the opportunity for a Wednesday night residency at Q Adelaide playing house. Not long after this I was playing at numerous clubs around the city.
It had begun.
I have to date been fortunate enough to play at the following clubs and events around Australia and achieved national recognition:
Wine Bar Bin 273, Historian Hotel, Q Melb, Cargo, Planet, Church, Bull and Bear, The Ed, The office, Savvy, Liquid Lounge, The Astor, The Bar on Gouger, Players Bar, Q Adelaide, Soda Room, Queens Arm Hotel, Havelock, Raglans, Minke, Earth, The Royal Oak, The Austral, The Shores ona New Years Day, The Cargo Street Parties, Aquarium, The Oxford, The Archer, Cumberland Arms Hotel, Mars Bar, Sugar, E&I, ZooTz, Club 199, The Loft, Griffins Head, The Lion, Gilligan’s PURE (QLD 06), Alhumbra Lounge (Brisbane), The Temple (Gold Coast).
My Residencies are at Earth Nightclub and at Savvy Bar Lounge.

It was at this time I realized that my goals had been achieved. In 2008 it was time to set new goals and reach for new heights.
Goal 1 - I have just become an International Booking Agent for DJs and run a special event called Purple Lychee in Adelaide with plans to tour around Australia with plans to continue to bring out the DJ’s we have all grown to love and appreciate for creating the house music scene we have today.
Goal 2 - Along with fellow DJ’s and musicians the concept of a band called MusicBox was realised. MusicBox includes Me as the DJ, Bos on sax, Andre on Trumpet and Maverick on percussion. We play DEEP, SOULFULL, TECH, FUNKED UP HOUSE. Our aim is to tour Australia’s major city’s throughout 2008.
