But look a little closer and longer and you might wince at just how non-cuddly they really are.In one, a dead hand holding a Crucifix necklace tears out of the seamed abdomen of a purplish Easter-like Peter Cottontail. On the opposite side, a child sits in his bed appearing contemplative and inquisitive, but not afraid. Sitting in the middle is an image of the Virgin Mary bursting out of an egg. Just in time for Easter!In another painting, Pinochio (who appears to be a real boy) appears possessed and attacks his wooden wrist with a stapler as a table-full of fairy-tale creatures look on in some sort of happy séance.
