This page contains links to various sites that I have found useful in promoting my art work in one way or another. The point of this page is to collate useful information so that other artists will benefit. More banners and links will be added each time I come accross a useful website. If you click on some of the banners and use the services I may receive some money:) but don't worry, that won't come out of your pocket. I will only post the sites that I find truly useful. Please add this site if you are a visual artist, if possible put it in your top 8/12 so that other artists might benefit. You will find beside each banner or link a brief description of the site, for further information go to the blog where you will find each one explained more fully, with uses and positive points and negative points. Subscibe to this blog if you wish to be made aware of new additions. feel free to email me with any suggestion for 'useful' sites for visual artists in any way. Note I did say useful, we are too busy trying to create to waste our time looking through the useless online. NOTE TO COMMENT POSTERS: If you decide to post your images on this page then thats fine but I will delete them after about a week, don't take this personally, it is only so I can keep the upload of this page fast, and I should imagine it may end up slow due to banners.

A site which truly made me laugh with its concept of pitching different up and coming artists against each other as a way of promoting artists. Not sure how useful this is but hey.

I cant say this next site is useful in the general view of this page BUT if you ever have days where you just can't mix the colour right or no matter how many times you draw the same thing it looks wrong wrong wrong, then check out this site to remind you that your not that bad! (Psychologically useful for artists questioning their talent)

Excellent site for people wanting to set up a web site easily with high ranking traffic. Most sites that use this service rank in the top 3% of all the websites on the internet. This site itself is ranked 287th by Alexa. Good for artists wanting to set up their site.

YESSY: Online art gallery for artists and buyers. Free 14 day trial. strong online presence.

ART.COM: A site that you can add a free gallery of your work(16 pieces)and sell prints and originals. Visit home page then click on 'original art and photography'

FINERWORKS: A site for artists to get giclee prints of their work at discounted prices(depending on quantity)on various formats, archival paper, fine art paper, canvas(matte/gloss)etc. Also has a useful online gallery for Artists wishing to sell their prints.
